Nursing chair : ウィキペディア英語版 | Nursing chair A nursing chair is a low seated partially upholstered chair used at least since Victorian times for a woman's use while nursing an infant. This chair form was particularly popular in England and found primarily in upper class homes. The types of wood most frequently used were oak, rosewood or walnut. The seat is often sprung and can be button decorated or adorned with a circumferential braid or pair of braids.〔''Upholstery: A Beginner's Guide'', David James, Sterling Publishers, 2004〕 The chair legs are frequently of a cabriole style or a straight-legged spindle design. ==See also==
